So i ran a race today. last year I ran 3139 at this course...
Today I ran 28:50!
All that summer training and these past 3 weeks really have changed my outlook on XC!
I went thru mile 1- 531
Mile 3- 5:55
Mile 4- 5:35
Mile 5- 5:55
I want to say I was moving up in the last 2 miles I was picking off people and cuaght a teammate and we worked together! Then I couldnt breathe and just kept telling myself to break 30 all i needed was a 7 min mile...
Then I just held pace and stayed with my teammate and ran and kickd and beat him. I could have been a bit faster but I lost the ability to breathe...O well...it was exciting!
Hows everyone else doing?
